Busy Getting Stuff Done

December 12, 2013

sunnybrook west

What a wild ride since my last entry. Where do I begin?

3-Creeks of course, the site of our 1st advocacy documentary. We are so close to fulfillment of the film’s stated goal – Remove Sunnybrook West from the Transportation System Plan – the final vote will be held later this month by the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners. We’ll keep you posted.

In January 2013 we hosted the 2nd annual Wateshed Event. It was outrageous fun! See the pics –

We had a full house as our film ‘Un-Dam It! advocated that the Milwaukie City Council make progress with efforts to remove Kellogg Dam and restore Kellogg Creek.

We are happy to report the city signed an agreement with Wildlands Inc. the restoration company highlighted in the film. We know it will be a long process but the efforts will be worth it for generations to come. Un-Dam It indeed.

Now even more great news!

The 3rd annual Watershed Event is set for Saturday January 25, 2014 at the Masonic Lodge in downtown Milwaukie. This year’s films will balance coal transport and fracking alongside films that capture beauty and meaning in clean, clear water.

We’ll keep you posted about the 3rd annual Watershed Event and hope you will attend.
